Author(s): Parinaz Pouresmaeil, Davood Habibi, Masoud Mashadi Akbar Boojar

The effects of super absorbent polymer on plant under drought stress were studied in three bean cultivars (Derakhshan , D81083, Naz) at the two levels of irrigation and two different amounts of super absorbent (0 & 7%). field experiment was conducted in 2005 and the experimental design was randomized complete block in a split plot arrangement with three replications. In field experiments fallowing characters were studied seed yield, Harvest index, seed 100 weight, Relative water content and leaf cell membrane stability. Result experiments showed that, stress decreases yield and its components, but using 7% super absorbent in field situation increases agricultural characters.
