The ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity have been measured for the ternary mixtures N,
N-Dimethylacetamide and N-Methylacetamide with Alkoxyethanols in Carbon tetrachloride
at 303, 313 and 323K. The experimental data have been used to calculate the acoustical
parameters namely adiabatic compressibility (β), free length (Lf), free volume (Vf) internal
pressure (πi), Viscous relaxation time (τ) and Gibb’s Free energy (ΔG). From the obtained
values, molecular interactions have been found through hydrogen bonding between solute
and solvent liquid mixtures.
