Finally for test of research hypotheses, regression analysis. To investigate the effect of athletic identity on the three groups of retirement problems, three separate regression-analyzes were used in which athletic identity will was analyzed as the independent variable and each group of the problems as dependent variable.. Results of linear regression for predicting retirement problems based on athletic identity variable showed that this variable can be a significant predictor of personal problems (Fâ??????????, â????????????â??????????â???????????=247.22, P=0.001, r²=0.531 ), psycho-social problems (Fâ??????????, â????????????â??????????â???????????=1277.08, P=0.001, r²=0.854), and professional issues (Fâ??????????, â????????????â??????????â???????????=409.155, P=0.001, r²=0.651) of retirement..
