Author(s): Saeed Sepahi

The following research tries to study daily training sessions' effect on inflammatory indexes (IL1 β, TNFα) in young adult elite taekwondo players. To fulfill this, 16 elite taekwondo players with at least black belts and championship record in province and country were selected from Saravan city as samples. The taekwondoists participated in training sessions for two days. Blood tests were done before and immediately after training sessions from subjects. Data analysis was done by SPSS16 software, dependent T-test and repeated measures. The results showed the reduction of IL-1 b after one session training, but there was no changes in TNF-a. after two session training in a day, there was too increasing in IL-1 β and TNF-a in Taekwondo athletes. Totally, we can say two sessions hard training in a day compared to one session training caused increasing in pre-inflammatory index in Taekwondo athlete's tests and this could be the sign of suppression of athlete's immunity system that it should be noted.
