The effect of educational games on learning disorder in 7-11 years old male students

The aim of the present research was to study the effect of educational games on learning disorder in 7-11 years old male students. The research is quasi-experimental carried out as a field study. The participants of the research are 7-11 years old students with math learning disorder. Of the total number of 213 students with this disorder, 40 students were selected as sample and were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. The training program involved 8 weeks of educational games. The findings showed that a period of playing select educational games had a significant effect on learning the subtests of counting, geometry, addition, subtraction, multiplication, mental calculation, measurement, time and money, problem solving, data interpretation, and estimation and as well on the areas of basic concepts, operations, applications, and the whole test, while it had no significant effect on rational numbers and division.
