In order to study the effects of biological and chemical fertilizers on growths characteristics, yield and quality characteristics of the Lippia plant (Lippia citriodora) experiment in the years of 1389-90 in a randomized complete block design with three replications in educational research farm of Islamic azad university of Bam was conducted. The treatments included: control (no fertilizer), biological fertilizers of nitroxine and nitroplus and a mixture of biological fertilizers and ammonium sulfate was applied to compare the use chemical and biological fertilizers. Although all the surveyed factors in the second year increased but the comparison treatment means showed the effect of the year on height, plant diameter and fresh weight and dry weight Lippia were significant, but the number of the branch, leaf length and percentage of the essence had no significant effect. Moreover, the results showed during the two years of experiment the application of biological fertilizers led to increase of height and the plant diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of the plant in comparison with the control. Meanwhile nitroxine fertilizer with 175 kilogram ammonium sulfate and then nitroxine with 75Kg ammonium sulfate had the most effect in the increasing the studied characteristics. In this case the least effect the measuring factors were related to the control treatment.
