Elimination or reduction of waste production in oil and gas exploration and production processes, with the aim of not only environmental protection, but with a reduction in operating costs, is essential. Now many of the traditional measures dealing with waste, the updates are for study and research. In the process, oil and gas exploration and production, the cost of dealing with waste form a substantial part of the project cost. Since the residuals are inconsistent with the environmental and financial consequences could be dire for a systematic waste management, environmental aspects, and economic issues with a view to be as a main purpose of the oil companies were upstream gas is considered. This paper provides a framework for waste management and suggests priority done. Effective measures against waste, environmental management are major components of each system. International attention on the proper treatment of waste to reduce potential harm to public health and the environment is growing every day. Waste management, reduce operating costs, the project will follow. Waste management operations in the upstream oil and gas industry for most of the seismic activity, drilling and development of manufacturing processes to deliver operational phases of the operation, are applicable. Basis for waste management, integrity and respect for hierarchy and management action plan is relevant. Special measures may be due to the type of waste, waste management and operational features of the site, including the possible re-use, recycling or recovery if conditions. To specify a list of waste streams and record waste management costs, can be very effective in identifying ways to improve practices. A detailed list of waste management practices, waste, reuse methods, the final placement of waste and eliminate them, not only the waste reduction program is a valuable tool, but as a data source in situations where the likelihood contamination has occurred and to implement proper waste management at the operational site will be used.
