In the present research work, single crystals of Barium tartrate crystals were grown by a simple gel technique using diffusion method. The optimum growth conditions were optimized by varying various parameters such as pH of the gel solution, gel concentration, gel setting time, concentration of the reactance. The crystalline nature of the grown crystal was confirmed using powder X-ray diffraction techniques (XRD). Surface morphology and compassion of materials were studied in scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and dispersive analysis of X-ray (EDAX).
