The study area (Ishiagu) which is part of the Lower Benue Trough comprises of igneous rock types that are predominantly intermediate to basic in nature. Two different intrusive types were recognized in Ishiagu: dolerite sills at Setraco Quarry and dykes at Crush Rock Quarry. Several geostatistical plots including Histogram, Rose Diagram and Stereographic Projections were made for structural interpretation. Results show that in the Crush Rock Quarry, Ishiagu, the histogram plots depict the wide distribution of intrusives; the rose diagrams show that the intrusive trend is polydirectional and the stereonet of the contoured diagrams have the highest densities of intrusion at the bearing of S 46° W and the lowest densities of intrusion at the bearing of S 35° W and N 75° W. For the Setraco Quarry, Ishiagu, the histogram plots depict the uneven distribution of the intrusives; the rose diagram shows that the intrusives trend in are bidirectional and the stereographic projections of the contoured diagrams have the highest densities of intrusion at the bearing of N 43° W and N 48° W and the lowest densities of intrusion at the bearing of N 30° W.
