Rapid one-pot four component synthesis of bioactive pyranopyrazoles using citric acid as a mild organocatalyst

An efficient one-pot multicomponent synthesis of pyranopyrazoles from aryl aldehydes, ethyl acetoacetate,
malononitrile and hydrazine hydrate in the presence of citric acid as a highly effective organocatalyst is reported.
This method offers good yield, clean reaction, short reaction time, and easy purification of product.
