The effect of the cardiospermum halicacabum L. leaf extract was investigated with various solvent acetone, methanol and benzene of were examined and concluded that the cardiospermum halicacabum L .leaf extract possess triterpenoids, phenolics, ferric chloride gelatin xanthoprotien and carbohydrate etc. and it shows absence for alkaloids, lead acetate, anthracene, steroids etc Results of the present investigation reveal that the employed extracts exhibit potential antibacterial activity against the pathogens. The preset study supports the view that several ethno medicinal plants might be useful as antibacterial against resulting in the development of novel drugs for many centuries through Ethanopharmocology .The plant materials have these beneficial properties which can be used for various medicinal purposes and can use by pharmaceutical company. However further investigation must be performed to examine the antibacterial properties to other pathogenic and bacteria at higher concentration. From the analysis it is true to be said that this medicine can be used to a large extent, against all the disease caused by those tested organisms. Before that their active principle must be studied for their real effectiveness, toxicity etc., in order to declare it as an active therapeutic agent.
