Kodasuri veera vaippu’ is a unique formulation that is used to cure arthritis in sidha medical practice. As this study is based on Indian system of medicine i.e. Siddha, both traditional as well as chemical studies were deeply explored to find out the validity, composition, effectiveness and safety of the drug used. In this study physio- chemical analyses were done on some of the compound. SEM, EDX, FTIR and ICP methods were followed to analyze qualitative and quantitative characters of compounds and results mentioned.
