An experiment was conducted to study the effect of cold and GA3 on growth and yield performances of onion during
October 2012 to March 2013. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with
three treatments viz. control, cold and GA3 and seven replications. Number of plant population, number of
leaves/plant, plant height, seed yield/plant, seed yield/plot and seed yield/ha of onion were varied significantly with
the cold treated bulbs and application of GA3. Cold treated bulbs yielded significantly more seed/plot (26.46 gplot-
