The densities and viscosities of metformin hydrochloride is determined in binary solvent ethanolwater
containing salt NaCl, KCl, NiCl2, CuCl2 and a non electrolyte Glucose. The values are
used to calculate excess viscosities, excess molar volume, excess Gibbs free energy of viscous
flow and d12, T12 and H12 parameters. The result reveals that there are specific interaction
between drug-metal ion, drug-water, drug-ethanol and water-ethanol.
