A simple, rapid, accurate, reliable and economical Spectrophotometric methods have been proposed for the determination of Doxycycline (DC) and Thorium(IV). The developed method is based on a fast colour reaction between DC and Th(IV). The method has been successfully applied for the determination metal as well as drug in pharmaceutical formulations.
