In vitro callus induction and regeneration was achieved by the addition of three different pesticides such as Endlosulfan Rogor and Kitazin and studied at different levels of these pesticides on Murashige and Skoog’s (MS) medium supplemented with IAA and BAP. The experiment was carried out to study the interaction of pesticides on callus induction, multiple shoot formation in relation to pesticide concentrations. The callus growth decreased with increasing level of pesticides in medium. Abnormal callus growth and shoot induction was noticed in some concentrations of pesticides in the medium. Among the different pesticides added media tested, 25 ppm of Rogor medium proved best for maximum production of callus induction (76.0) and shoots (11.0).
