Formulation and invitro characterization of chitosan-nanoparticles loaded with ciprofloxacin hydrochloride

The main aim of this work is to prepare the nanoparticles by using Ciprofloxacin Hcl was used as a model drug. In this work, different drug and polymer ratios were used. The prepared formulations were subjected to different invitro analysis such as drug content analysis, particle size analysis, zeta potential analysis, and invitro drug release and stability studies. The particle size is about 457 nm; the drug content is in the range of 56 + 0.12 to 68 + 0.13. The zeta potential was 38.6 mv. The cumulative percentage of drug release was about 85 %. F2 Formulation was found to be the best formulation with higher cumulative percentage of drug release.
