Experimental-computational evaluation of in-vitro antimicrobial activity of mono and bicyclic β- lactams is described. The compounds prepared were tested against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial species such as Escherichia coli, Stapylococcus citrus, Klebsiella pneumonae and Bacillus subtillis. Some of these compounds showed potential antimicrobial activities. This study would greatly help to pharmacomodultate the antibiotics.
