Effect of Zn2+ Concentration on Structural Properties of Ni-Zn Ferrites Synthesized by Sol-gel Auto combustion Technique

Ni-Zn ferrites composition, have been synthesized by Sol-gel Auto combustion method using citric acid as precursor. System Ni1-x ZnxFe2O4 is chosen for preparation where x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 Decomposition of precursor at low temperature gives Ni-Zn ferrite power. The ferrites have been investigated for their structural properties such as lattice parameter, cation distribution, radii of A, B site , Particle size, bulk-x-ray density and porosity. The grain sizes obtain from XRD data is in the range of 20 - 30 nm. It is observed that lattice parameter (a) increases with increase in Zn content
