Abstract

Effect of localized Isotonic exercises on under fat skin

Author(s): Mohammad Dehganpoori

The purpose of this research was to compare the effects of localized isotonic exercise on underskin fat rate in non-athlete male students. 12 healthy non-athlete male students by average 20-27 years with no surgery in chest, abdomen and thigh were selected voluntarily. The fat thickness of chest, abdomen and thigh were measured by Caliper, then based on age and the amount of under-skin fat, the fat percentage of three regions were excerpted from "Sari" by using estimating table. After 12 sessions of practicing in 4 weeks, those 3 regions were determined from the viewpoint of fat thickness and fat percentage. Data were analyzed by independent T test to compare pre-test and post-test the effect of isotonic exercises on under fat skin. By analyzing the proposed hypotheses at level P≤0.05, demonstrated that isotonic exercises have an effects on decreasing fat percentage of under skin fat.
