Drug related issue and precaution: Dandy walker malformation and untreated hydrocephalus

This case study was about 1 year 11 months old Malay female, 1st twin, 10.6kg with a height of 89 cm. The chief complaint was low grade, intermittent fever for 6 days and history of present illness revealed that the patient is a premature born twin at 35 weeks, with hydrocephalus diagnosed antenatally which was left untreated and epilepsy with dandy walker syndrome, with multiple admissions to hospital due to breakthrough seizures. The Patient was having no diarrhea, no vomiting, no abdominal pain, no rashes and not from dengue area, no recent fogging done. She was then admitted to Hospital Baling, given IV dextrose and syrup paracetamol, however her grandmother requested for at own risk discharge and claimed there was no improvement. After that, they went to Metro hospital, and finally referred to SP hospital for viral fever with pharyngitis, poor oral intake, reduce urine output and bronchitis. After a week the patient discharged from hospital.
