To identify high molecular weight Glutenin subunits (HMW-GS) of 16 advanced lines of bread wheat, an experiment was conducted in Islamic Azad University- Ardabil Branch in 2013. Single seeds were evaluated by SDS-PAGE method and gutenin alleles were identified. Considerable diversity with respect to three Glu-A1, Glu-B1 and Glu-D1 loci were observed. In Glu-A1 locus, null, 1and 2* alleles were found with the frequency of %20, %20 and %60. Whereas, in Glu-B1, out of 11 reported alleles, only valuable alleles such as 7+8, 7+9, 13+16 and 17+18 were detected. In Glu-D1 locus, 2+12 and 5+10 were recognized with the frequency of 33% and 67% respectively. Quality score of genotypes were ranked from 5 to 10 indicating vast genetic diversity among the genotypes. Among the genotypes, lines 7, 15 and 16 had the best combination of HMW-GS and were regarded as high bread making quality.
