Bianchi type –III Cosmological model filled with a magnetized Cosmic strings is investigated in general relativity. Here we assume that F23 is only non-vanishing component of electromagnetic field tensor Fij. We obtain exact solution by assuming that the expansion q in the model is proportional to the shear s which leads to C = Bn where B and C are functions of time only. The physical and geometrical behaviour of cosmological model are discussed.
