Abstract

An evidential reasoning approach to generate multifactor experimental data using Dempster-Shafer theory

Author(s): A. Ahmed, S. C. Nwaosu and A. Adamu

This paper demonstrated successfully how to use Dempster – Shafer (DS) theory to generate multi factor experimental data. We demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach in a case study involving four factors that are varied at three levels each. Aliasing was used to reduce the number of data. The generated data was found to be significant at 5%. The result clearly shows that DS theory work well in generating multifactor experimental data.
