Renalase, is an enzyme that metabolizes catecholamines, exhibit significant function in relating both renal and cardiovascular diseases. The aim of the present study is to amplify the human renalase gene from blood sample using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Furthermore, large quantities of renalase can be produced using recombinant DNA technologywhich can be used as therapeutic agent in the cases of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients as a future work. In conclusion, renalase gene was amplified from bloodhavinga size of 280bp.
