Angiogenesis is the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing vasculature involved in normal physiology in the body and in different diseases. Plant species from the Annonaceae family have identified by previous studies to possess inhibitory activity. The different concentrations of Cananga odorata leaf and flower extracts were used to determine the angiogenic activity on the Chorio-Allantoic Membrane (CAM) of 12-day old duck embryos.
