Effective prevention strategies are vital not only for reducing the occurrence of injuries but also for promoting an athlete’s ability to train and compete at their highest level. Exercise prescription—carefully tailored physical activity plans designed to meet the specific needs of individuals with chronic conditions—has become a key component of managing these diseases.
